Lançamos a 9ª turma do curso de Gerência de Riscos em Comercialização de Energia, a ser realizado entre os dias 23 a 25 de agosto de 2016 no Centro Empresarial Rio no edifício Argentina, praia de botafogo.

Curso oferecido pelo canal energia, ministrado por mim e pelo DSc Bernardo Bezerra, da PSR consultoria. Coordenação do DSc Luiz Barroso. Aulas práticas utilizando o Excel tornam o curso bastante prático para comercializadores, grandes consumidores, geradores e reguladores. Quem trabalha em distribuição também tem grande benefício em realizar o curso, pois verá todos os conceitos para a gestão de risco na contratação da energia.

First work on Two-Stage Adjustable Robust Optimization in Power System Operation

In 2011, Alexandre Moreira presents his undergrad dissertation on Robust Optimization Approach for the Network-Constrained Unit Commitment Problem with n-K Security Criterion. This is the first work that introduces the concept of two-stage or adjustable robust optimization in power system operation.
